– A large majority of our breakdown/emergency calls to site are due to blocked condensers, blocked drain pipes, ice build up, which are a result of a lack of maintenance of the equipment, and could be prevented with a regular scheduled Service Plan.
– We tailor each Service Plan to suit our customers’ needs, and pride ourselves on finding the best, most efficient refrigeration solution to any issues we uncover.
– Frequency of recommended servicing depends on what is stored, how it is stored and the location of the refrigeration system. The recommendation is a minimum 6-monthly service as a baseline, and some sites require more frequent services.
– Regular servicing will ensure longevity of equipment & will improve running costs, in addition to preventing the unexpected breakdowns. Regular servicing will also provide customers with the peace of mind that their equipment is complying with all Health & Safety regulations.
– Servicing Inclusions:
o Visual inspection – check for signs of wear & tear, damage or corrosion on compressor, condenser, evaporator, all pipework & electrical connections
o Cleaning – condenser & evaporator coils, debris from fans & air filters, clean condensate drains and any other required components
o Refrigerant levels – check refrigerant levels & top up with refrigerant if necessary
o Electrical testing – connections & controls will be checked for faults & tested to ensure they are functioning correctly
o Performance testing – refrigeration system tested to ensure that it is achieving the correct temperature & operating efficiently
o Repairs – if any faults or damage is detected during the servicing process, the tech will advise the customer and undertake necessary repairs, or if major works are required, a quote will be provided on the spot
o Documentation – a detailed Service Report will be provided with the works completed & any recommendations with future servicing & repairs.
