Queensland is a growing state.

Lead by Broad Construction, Yarrabilba Secondary School is set to open on day one of the 2020 school year.

With plans for the school to eventually accommodate up to 1800 students in years 7-12 by 2024, the new school will be a world-class facility for our young people, boasting a Junior General Learning Centre, Technology Centre,  Science Centre,  Food and Hospitality Centre, Resource Centre , double court sports centre, sports oval and canteen.

Subzero Projects are pleased to have been awarded the multiple dual temperature coldrooms for Davies Climate Control, to be installed in the canteen & hospitality centre.

It is an exciting time for the Queensland, with the Yarrabilba Secondary School being one of eight, set to open in Queensland in 2020 as part of the Palaszczuk Government’s $808 million Building Future Schools Fund (BFS).

“Queensland is a growing state and we are building the infrastructure and services we need.” Hon Grace Grace, Education Minister said.

Listed as one of Queenslands “Hot Spots”, Yarrabilba is one of the state’s fastest-growing master planned communities which is predicted to grow by almost 14,000 people by the end of 2031.
