Subzero Projects were pleased to have been awarded the coldroom’s & refrigeration for builders, ATG Projects, for the highly anticipated Burleigh Beach Pavilion refurbishment.
More than $5 million has been spent on renovations to extend the second floor dining space (previously Oskars) further out towards the ocean. And a further $4 million on the exterior of the building, which already houses the well-reviewed Rick Shores restaurant (coldrooms also previously installed by Subzero Projects in late 2015).
With the rooftop venue now boasting a whopping 1200 square metres, it provides gorgeous uninterrupted views of our Gold Coasts stunning coastline.
Acclaimed Sydney chef Guillaume Zika will be headlining the yet-to-be-named restaurant on the pavilion’s upper level.
The developer, May Hotels (also owners of Manly Wharf Hotel, and Mrs Sippy at Double Bay), say they are keen to keep things as they are for the immediate future & are quoted to be encouraging patrons to “enjoy the best location on the coast in your board shorts for the cost of a beer or a burger”.
There has been no official opening date set as yet, but as construction is drawing near to a close, they still look to be on track for a December opening, as planned.
